Delivery & return

Delivery

We send all of our orders with the possibility of tracking them if something were to happen during delivery. During shipment, the order is insured, and we ask you to inspect the content upon delivery. If the package or the content is damaged at arrival, please contact Art by Me immediately or, at least, two days after receiving. Return the damaged goods. Art by Me is not responsible for products damaged during transportation. We always carefully wrap the products and minimize possible damage.

Art by Me delivers using GLS. The final price appears before the order is submitted. Delivery is considered when the product has arrived at the address or picked up at the selected parcel shop. We strive to choose a parcel shop closest to your address.

Art by Me delivers as soon as possible and strives to ship the item within three working days from the order confirmation. In connection with public holidays, there may be a longer delivery time.

Should there be delays with GLS, Art by Me cannot be held responsible. Delivery costs are added to the order amount and defrayed by the customer. If there are product descriptions and user manuals for the ordered item, these are included with the delivered item. When the item is dispatched from Art by Me, you will receive a track and trace number. There will be an e-mail and/or text when the item is ready for pick-up in the chosen parcel shop. Art by Me reserves the right for delayed or insufficient delivery due to force majeure.


Return

All orders on Art by Me’s webshop are subject to Danish legislation. Therefore, you have the right of cancellation on purchases made on www.artbyme.dk to the degree that follows The Danish Consumer Protection Act. As a customer, you have 14 days of cancellation per The Danish Consumer Protection Act from the day you receive the product. If you wish to cancel your purchase, this must be done by filling out and printing our return label (find it here) and returning the item to webshop@artbyme.dk or to:

The returned item must be in the same condition and quantity as when you received it for you to use your right of cancellation, and we recommend packing the item very securely. Once the item is received and approved by Art by Me, you will receive a refund. We only credit the card used to purchase the product. By doing so, we minimize the risk of using stolen credit cards. Store your receipt as proof that the package was shipped. You are responsible for the return costs.

In connection with settling the agreement, Art by Me reserves the right to charge a possible depreciation of the item. This means that Art by Me, in connection with refunding the purchase price, can deduct a sum to cover possible impairments if the item is used.

You can automatically cancel the purchase agreement by not receiving or picking up the item at the parcel shop. It is not possible to deliver the item to Art by Me’s headquarters without a prior agreement. Uncollected packages are subject to an additional handling fee of 50DKK This fee and the associated shipping costs for returning the package to Art by Me is charged by the customer.

The purchase price for the returned item will be refunded within 14 days after giving the notice that you have stepped away from the agreement. 

You pay the expenses related to returning items in connection to cancellation.

Claim

The Danish Sale of Goods Act applies to agreements regarding delivering of products, where you have a 24-month claim on all products purchased on Art by Me’s webshop calculated from the day the item is received. The claim allows you to have your product repaired, replaced, refunded your money, or a reduction in the price depending on the current situation. If the claim is based on negligence, then the claim is withdrawn and is perceived as common wear. When you receive your order, do immediately check the item for any flaws and deficiencies and contact us regarding making a claim.

Any claim regarding missing parts of the shipped order must be made to Art by Me. You will receive a return label with the return address. This must be filled in as well as a copy of the order confirmation and shipped together with the return package.

In case of any claims regarding the item, please address Art by Me directly. Remember to attach a copy of the order confirmation.
